First due - 113 calls

For the month of September the Fire Division handled 13 calls for service. Station 403 responded to 8 calls and Station 405 responded to 9 calls.

Special Unit 403 - 3 calls
Engine 405 - 5 calls
Tanker 405 - 6 calls
Squad 405 – 4 calls

EMS Supervisor - 1 calls

Fire Training: Two department fire trainings were held this month. The first was water supply drills related to hydrant operations. The second was a joint training on ropes and rigging with equipment carried on Truck 403.

EMS Training: Two EMS training sessions were held this month. The first was with Page, Wolfberg, and Wirth Law Firm on documentation. The second was with Penn Medicine's Dr Ed Dickinson on “Managing the Impossible Airway".

Community Events: We had multiple Fire and EMS community relations events/standbys this month which included the Bank of Bird in Hands Customer Appreciation event, Bird in Hand 5k, Bird in Hand Half Marathon, Pequea Valley High School Football games, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm's Hometown Heros event, and the open house for neighboring Intercourse Fire Company.
