For the month of June the Fire Division handled 19 calls for service. Station 403 responded to 14 calls and Station 405 responded to 11 calls.

EMS training for the month was a presentation from Penn State Health Dr. Mencl and Dr. Hester-Laird on Hospice care and DNRs.

Fire training for the month had stations 403 and 405 with a joint training on handline advancements. Crews worked together through several scenarios in a training building for hoseline advancement under limited and zero visibility conditions.

In June we also had our annual summer sale at our Kinzer station. Thank you to all who attended and consigned items!
